DESCRIPTIF DE L'OFFRE
The Area Service Technician will be based in Abu Dhabi or Dubai with extensive travels. Essential Duties And Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned):

Perform troubleshooting, repairs and maintenance on all types of Ground Support Equipment, either with or without supervision. Intervention on customer sites according to provide technical support Demonstrate a basic understanding of all TLD systems and subsystems (TLD being our sister company) Collaborate with senior technicians, managers factory business unit to execute complicated tasks User training and 1st level maintenance for customers Be proficient in laptop usage (outlook, word, adobe, excel) Support other technicians if needed, especially the exisiting maintenance team in AUH Airport and TLD MEAI Service Team Maintain accurate records of time, expenses and planning Meet and work with customers across many different countries Expected to update AES CMMS, with all aspects of work reports on daily bases Activity-related reporting (intervention reports and closure, customer responses, etc.)

DESCRIPTION DU PROFIL
You have good technical and troubleshooting skills, and knowledge of the following fields:

Mechanics Electrical engineering (DC and AC) Hydraulics Automation (CANbus preferred) Refrigeration / Air conditioning


Education in a mechanical or electrical-related discipline or equivalent technical work experience from automotive industry or a related industry Aeronautics, Engines, Electrical, Marine, Aviation, construction etc



Ability to learn and adapt to learn new products and systems as they come online


Expected to have a strong motivation to develop your skills, knowledge and demonstrate a performance mind-set



Expected to be very independent on task delegated to you and to have full ownership


Ability to collaborate and succeed in a dynamic team environment, contributing positively to the team spirit


Be flexible to travel on short notice and quite frequently, mainly across (but not limited) South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa, Middle East and Indian Ocean Islands.


Europeen nationality required





Excellent communication skills in English are essential and an ability to translate technical concerns to our customers, factories or our management (email, word, PDF etc).
