Job Title: Maintenance Planner Specialist - Public Transport



Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner Specialist for our Public Transport (PT) operation with an in-house maintenance service center. The ideal candidate will optimize maintenance processes, utilize SAP systems, and implement strategic planning to ensure efficient operations of public transport vehicles and infrastructure.



Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance strategies for public transport fleet and facilities

2. Utilize SAP plant and dealership modules for maintenance planning and execution

3. Create and maintain asset hierarchies for streamlined maintenance management of vehicles and infrastructure

4. Manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) for both preventive and corrective maintenance of transport assets

5. Develop and optimize maintenance schedules to minimize service disruptions

6. Coordinate maintenance activities with transport operators and technicians

7. Prioritize tasks based on vehicle/equipment criticality and operational needs

8. Analyze maintenance data to improve efficiency and reduce vehicle downtime

9. Ensure compliance with transport safety regulations and industry standards

10. Manage inventory of spare parts and supplies for the public transport fleet

11. Implement and maintain a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)

12. Provide regular reports on fleet maintenance activities and key performance indicators



Requirements:

Proven experience in maintenance planning, preferably in public transport or related industries Expertise in SAP plant maintenance and dealership modules Strong understanding of maintenance strategies for transport fleets and infrastructure Proficiency in creating and managing asset hierarchies for complex transport systems Experience in developing and maintaining BOMs for preventive and corrective maintenance of vehicles Knowledge of public transport vehicles, equipment, and facility maintenance needs Ability to optimize maintenance processes using SAP functionalities Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision making in fleet management Excellent organizational and communication abilities * Familiarity with transport safety regulations and maintenance best practices
