Overview

**This position will support LOGCAP and is contingent upon award**

Under limited supervision, manages the daily operation of the maintenance department in support of the LOGCAP V Kuwait Task Order. The Maintenance Manager (Augmentation) provides technical and operational guidance to a multi-national work force. Manages readiness reports and contingency planning for all maintenance related activities. Overall responsible for the accountability and status of equipment. Directs the establishment and operation of shop stock list for maintenance related operations.

Responsibilities

This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company.

+ Monitors Maintenance program production schedules and ensures all missions are executed on time and at the highest quality level possible.

+ Oversees the tracking of all maintenance related tasks.

+ Provides direction and guidance in the supervision of personnel engaged in maintenance related task/activities.

+ Maintains Management role utilizing Global Combat Support-Army (GCSS-Army) to oversee all daily maintenance related functions.

+ Validates data presented on all reports prior to briefing 0-5, 0-6 and 0-8 level Commanders.

+ Oversees the planning and scheduling of maintenance and services for all equipment assigned to the respective department.

+ Primary Hand Receipt holder for tools, equipment and spare parts assigned to the section as well as supervises performance of sensitive/controlled items inventories.

+ Monitors work orders/production on all assigned equipment requiring corrective action.

+ Ensures daily reporting is annotated with current and updated information.

+ Manages the supervision of physical/personnel security, supply and maintenance management operations as it pertains to assigned equipment.

+ Oversees the tracking of recoverable items to ensure compliance with exchange pricing (EP)/recoverable items program.

+ Determine the causes of equipment readiness deficiencies, gives direction on corrective action within their areas of responsibility, and provide feedback on systemic readiness problems.

+ Adheres to LOGCAP Performance Work Statement and enforces standards within the work area.

+ Provides reports on all life safety, quality, and maintenance issues.

+ Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

+ Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.

+ Must be CAC eligible and/or able to obtain a Common Access Card. CAC & SIPR Token Required

+ Must be a U.S. Citizen

+ A valid driver license and the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Motor Vehicle License and host nations Drivers License, if required.

+ Certified in GCSS-Army in a Commanders Role/ Maintenance Manager Role and other Army Information Systems for property / logistics

+ Secret Clearance Required

+ Must sign Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).

+ Must be familiar with Army regulations for maintenance, COSIS Maintenance requirements, Army Vantage, SOUMS, MWO, ORIL, etc.

+ Must have worked on Brigade staff or higher echelons in maintenance roles.

+ Experience:

+ Minimum of 5 years of management of maintenance programs and supply management experience with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity of a similar project/department/branch.

+ Skills:

+ Microsoft Suite of products, Strong computer skill, Mechanical Background

+ Working Environment:

+ Indoor and/or outdoor warehouse environment with very adverse and harsh conditions (i.e., hot, dry, dusty, desert environment with average temperatures of 30 degrees in the winter and 130 degrees in the summer months). Includes some industrial production environment conditions as well.

+ Physical Activities:

+ Will include prolong sitting and exposure to Computer Vision Syndrome

+ May be required to work an uncommon schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

+ Must be able to work extended hours and evenings, as mission requires.

+ Must have professional appearance

+ Required to observe all safety, security, fire, and health requirements for office, warehouse, and outside environment

+ Working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical or biological agents.

+ Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes but is not limited to. head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices.
