We are having opening for Maintenance Engineer ( Mechanical )in Oil & Gas Industry
Position:- Maintenance Engineer
Location:- Oman
Salary Range:- 800 to 1000OMR(8000 to 10000AED) + Food ,Accomdation and Transportation.
Project:- Catepillar Gas plant generator
Qualification:- B,Tech or B.E In Mechanical.

Perform periodic preventive and corrective maintenance of CAT gas engines and related auxiliary systems.
Carry out installation, commissioning, and operational checks of CAT 3516 gas generator sets and associated equipment.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical issues in gas engines, compressors, cooling systems, and auxiliary units.
Conduct major overhauls, top-end and bottom-end servicing of CAT 3516 gas engines.
Monitor engine performance parameters, identify abnormalities, and ensure reliable and efficient operation.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and generate reports for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
Coordinate with operations and electrical teams to ensure smooth running of plant activities.
Follow OEM guidelines, safety procedures, and company maintenance standards.
Manage spare parts planning, requisition, and inventory related to mechanical systems.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BE - Mechanical) from a recognized institution.
10-12 years of proven experience in mechanical maintenance of gas-based power generation plants, specifically CAT make gas engine generators.in GCC Countries
Must be CAT Factory Trained and Certified in operation and maintenance of CAT 3516 (Gas) Engines.
Strong technical knowledge of gas engine systems, auxiliaries, and control systems.
Experience in planned maintenance, troubleshooting, and overhaul of CAT gas generators.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in remote power plant locations.
Preferred Skills:
In-depth understanding of CAT SIS, ET diagnostic tools, and service manuals.
Good communication and documentation skills.
Knowledge of HSE standards and best maintenance practices in power plants.
Ability to lead and train maintenance technicians.
