Urgently hiring! (Read Carefully): Proposal Engineer (Metering & Sampling-Oil& Gas) for OGSI the global name in designing and manufacturing high-quality products and metering systems for the Oil, Gas, Petrochemical and Power Generation industries in JAFZA, Dubai, UAE.

Knowledge & Experience needed:

Working closely with the Proposals Team to create solutions for applications (Engineering staff will provide the expertise in assisting with equipment selection and overall design of solutions) for Metering and Sampling Systems package design and equipment selection for engineered & standard products to compile complete technical & commercial proposals.
-Preparing cost estimates to build final sales price.

-Producing proposals.

-Reviewing terms & conditions.

-Review and interpretation of customer specifications and national & international codes & project-specific requirements.

-Attending & participating in Bid Clarification Meetings (BCMs).

-Attending & participating in Pre-Award negotiations.

-Participation in Contract Review / Kick-Off Meetings.

-Participation in Design Review Meetings.

-Participation in P&ID & GA (General Arrangement drawings) review meetings.

-Participation in Close Out Meetings.

-Interfacing on technical & commercial communications with the potential customer.

-Liaising with the customer and building a good professional relationship.

-Liaising with project personnel to ensure that we make what we have sold.

-Preparation & checking of documents produced in-house.

-Checking of documents produced by suppliers.

-Providing engineering support and technical solutions.

-Review & interpretation of specifications, standards & regulations and project requirements.

-Obtaining & reviewing quotations from suppliers.
-Assisting with contract project work as required and also assisting in FAT testing activities at our workshop when necessary.
