About the Role
We are looking for a
Maintenance Assistant
to join our team and support daily preventive, corrective, and general repair activities. Working under the guidance of experienced Maintenance Technicians, Engineers, and Supervisors, you will help ensure that mechanical, electrical, and facility systems run safely and efficiently.
This is a hands-on role that offers valuable exposure to maintenance operations, equipment reliability, and workplace safety--ideal for someone eager to develop their technical skills in an industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support for Preventive & Corrective Maintenance
Assist in inspections, lubrication, and servicing of machinery and equipment.
Help with repairs on mechanical, electrical, and utility systems (e.g., pumps, motors, piping, HVAC, lighting).
Prepare tools, spare parts, and work areas for scheduled and emergency tasks.
General Facility & Equipment Care
Monitor equipment for leaks, noise, or wear and report concerns promptly.
Maintain orderliness and cleanliness in workshops, storage areas, and job sites.
Safely handle tools, lifting gear, and maintenance consumables.
Documentation & Reporting
Record maintenance activities, parts usage, and observations in logbooks or work order systems.
Report faults, safety issues, or abnormal conditions immediately.
Safety & Compliance
Follow all HSE procedures, including lockout/tagout and permit-to-work requirements.
Wear correct PPE and actively participate in toolbox talks and risk assessments.

Required Qualifications
Prior hands-on experience in industrial or facility maintenance (mechanical, electrical, or general maintenance preferred).
Ability to use basic hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
Ability to follow instructions, safety signage, and maintenance procedures.

Good teamwork and communication skills.
Willingness to learn and develop under supervision.
Physically fit to perform lifting, standing, and climbing tasks.
