Maintenance Assistant ( Technical )
Job Description
Job Summary:
The Maintenance Assistant will provide support to the maintenance team in ensuring the smooth operation of production machinery, equipment, and systems. This role requires proactive involvement in regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards in a food and beverages manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the regular inspection, maintenance, and repair of production machinery, conveyors, ovens, mixers, and other equipment used in the food production process.
Support in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn-out parts.
Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime.
Ensure all machinery operates within safety and operational standards.
Maintain accurate maintenance logs and reports of completed tasks, inspections, and repairs.
Follow safety protocols and food safety standards to ensure a safe working environment.
Assist with inventory management for tools, spare parts, and equipment.
Work closely with the maintenance supervisor and other departments to schedule repairs and maintenance without disrupting production schedules.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From AED1,350.00 per month
