Job Description

Job Summary: Lead, motivate and guide lounge team members, to maximize the service levels and productivity, whilst promoting a positive and cooperative work environment. Inclusive of operational supervision, customer experience, team compliance, and lounge reporting. To ensure standard processes are followed, a safe workplace is maintained and set goals are achieved.   • Role model expected level of customer service and lead the team in delivering the same
  • Display high level of product knowledge and be able to confidently provide information to customers
  • Provide support to customers with utilizing the lounges facilities and services
  • Motivate team members to anticipate customer needs and take opportunities to exceed expectations
Operational
  • Oversee and perform daily shift requirements as per the standard operating procedures, in the areas of lounge welcome & entry, equipment and services set up, user support and retail
  • Hold shift briefings and ensure team members and are kept updated of all relevant information
  • Ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained per shift
  • Utilise the automated lounge management systems to complete customer and team requirements and reports
  • Ensure visual appearance of the lounge is of the highest standard. Reporting and following up any unserviceable equipment, furniture or fittings
  • Monitor third party suppliers and vendors, provide feedback as required
  • Manage customer feedback, complaints and facilitate service recovery as applicable
  • Complete daily, weekly and monthly reports
Safety and Security
  • Ensure compliance with corporate, department and airport policies and procedures
  • Ensure incident and emergency response procedures are fully understood
Team Leadership
  • Motivate and lead staff to elevate performance, achieve and exceed set targets
  • Provide on-job feedback, guidance, and development
  • Compile staff rosters and monitor attendance
Financial
  • Communicate revenue targets and maximize potential revenue opportunities
  • Monitor accuracy of POS utilization, cash/credit card handling, and reconciliation
Minimum Job Requirements: A. Education : Relevant tertiary level education B. Professional Experience:
  • 2-3 years experience in a supervisory role within the airline, hospitality or retail industry
  • Experience in a video gaming, I.T or technology focused role is an advantage
C. Competencies Required
