Job Title LOME Finance Management

Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1)Responsible for A&P lines of the P&L and CAPEX. This includes the below major tasks:

a)Reporting Budget / Trend / Monthly Actuals of A&P lines in all financial systems
Anticipation of Trend timelines and ask for info a month in advance to reduce the stress of all parties in Trend Buildup.
Monthly Commentary on A&P, by BU, brand, franchise, axe (Actuals vs trend/budget)
Manage/monitor month-end closing entries within deadlines. Ensure PO policy compliance by all stakeholders (PO KPI, My Markets follow-up).
Media follow-up in Contacts tool for budget/trend and weekly flight and monthly plan approvals by all stakeholders.
BA reporting in Compass and monthly BA follow-up HC and costs, check of DNs by BA of distributor DNs.
Produce monthly compass reports and communication to brands.
b)Responsible for the A&P landing as per budget/trend
Regular follow-up of A&P costs by A&L P&L line ex: Other, promo, media, BAs etc..)
Validation of POSM YTG purchasing plan. Challenge marketing on quantities purchased based on stock on hand.
Follow-up on:
oPLV items in stock and forecast/usage monthly planning.
oA&P cost trackers (ex: LOME file) and monthly review meetings with brands.
oFranchise profitability S21 for each brand.
c)Optimize the costs and efficacy of actions undertaken in accordance with the Standards and good practices set down by Internal Control by maintaining constant links with his/her contacts (e.g. value analysis, cost analysis, POS advertising, etc.).
d)Monitor costs and carry out all analyses required to identify risks and opportunities and to propose the appropriate actions.
e)Ensure closure of any Internal Audit points and strict follow-up of IC group norms including tender process.
(ex: PO compliance, monthly tracking of proof of performance of all POs related to costs recharged from distributors).

2)Support commercial controller in:
a)Month-end closing and bookings related to Sales.
b)Follow-up on monthly DN follow-ups
c)Management of new launch prices and the price list.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

Education/ Qualification: University Degree specializing in Finance. CA/ACCA/CMA
No of years experience: 2 to 5 years
Essential experience : Financial Controlling, worked in FMCG
Preferred experience : Accounting, SAP, worked in Multi National or big corporate

Negotiations skills
Marketing Mix & Media Planning understanding
Strong Excel
