Purpose: As a Food & Beverage Management Trainee, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills to become a future leader in the hospitality industry. At The First Group, the Management Trainee programme would like to invite graduates from leading hospitality schools and provide them with hands-on operational experience, tailor-made in the selected area of specialization over the period of 12 months.

Responsibilities: Familiar with Food & Beverage Standards & Procedures along with the culinary section and practice the duty of all sections. Operationally support F&B team members and take on supervisor shifts when necessary. Assist the team in Providing personalized guest service. Efficient handling of guest complaints and giving proper follow-up. Promote outlet concepts and up-sell according to the outlet targets. Manage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner. Follow up and assist in requests from the Food & Beverage Manager. Ensure brand compliance standards. Join internal meetings and training courses offered. Strive to achieve departmental KPIs. See to the cleanliness of work areas. Be environmentally aware. Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain an overall good working relationship. Work in all areas of Food & Beverage including casual dining, fine dining, sports bar, and banquets & events. Welcome members in a polite and friendly manner. Take and deliver customer orders, consistently demonstrating high levels of customer service. Assist in answering members' queries in a timely and efficient manner. Assist in preparing setups for tables and/or function rooms. Assisting the Food & Beverage Manager with administrative tasks. Comply with F&B policies & procedures, club's security, fire regulations, and all health and safety legislation. Attend management meetings when required. Assist in analysing financial figures and preparing reports. Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships. You will also be trained in other departments of the hotel operations such as Rooms, Security, Human Resources, Recruitment, Finance, Sales & Marketing, etc. You will require to attend monthly catch ups and review sessions with your appointed mentor/coach. Ensures that always properly well-groomed and personal hygiene is maintained according to The Frist Group standards. Desired Skill & Expertise

Desired Skills & Expertise: Bachelor's or master's degree in Tourism Management, Hospitality Administration, Business Administration, or relevant discipline. Excellent level of English. Recently graduated and passionate about hospitality and delivering excellent service. Recently graduated with a degree in Hospitality. Excellent communicator and able to connect with all levels in the business with the ability to motivate your colleagues. Effective organizational skills: able to prioritize tasks and self-manage a workload. Excellent personal presentation with a warm and welcoming personality. Friendly, approachable, and professional. Have a strong eye for detail.
