About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced

Logistics Coordinator

with a strong background in the

shipping industry

, specifically in handling

bulk Agri-commodities

. The ideal candidate must be well-versed in

documentation processes, customs clearance, and JAFZA procedures and documentation

, ensuring smooth cargo movement and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate all logistics activities for

import and export shipments

of bulk Agri-commodities (such as wheat, barley, grains, rice etc.). Manage

end-to-end shipping documentation

, including Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, Delivery Order, and other regulatory paperwork. Handle

customs clearance procedures

, liaising with agents and authorities to ensure timely approvals. Coordinate with

shipping lines, transporters, warehouses, and suppliers

to facilitate efficient cargo handling. Maintain strong working relationships with

JAFZA authorities

, ensuring compliance with free zone regulations and processes. Track shipment status, resolve operational delays, and provide regular updates to internal teams and clients. Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and filing systems for logistics documentation.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum

4 years of experience

in

logistics or operations within the shipping industry

. Hands-on experience in handling

bulk Agri-commodities or fertilizers

is

mandatory

. Strong knowledge of

documentation and customs clearance procedures

in the UAE. Prior

JAFZA experience

is

required

. Experience in

clearing and freight forwarding

. Excellent coordination and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple shipments simultaneously. Proficiency in MS Office and logistics management tools/software is an advantage.
