Job Purpose:

The Logistics Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire warehouse and distribution operations, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of goods. This role focuses on optimizing warehouse processes, managing staff, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and supporting overall supply chain performance to meet organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, organize, and manage overall warehouse operations to ensure efficient and timely handling of goods. Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff, including supervisors, team leaders, and general operatives. Develop and implement warehouse procedures and best practices to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Maintain accurate inventory levels and conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity. Ensure compliance with health and safety, quality, and environmental standards. Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, including coordination with transport and delivery teams. Monitor performance metrics and KPIs to evaluate staff productivity and warehouse efficiency. Prepare reports for senior management, including inventory status, order fulfillment, and operational issues. Manage warehouse budget and control costs related to labor, equipment, and inventory. Collaborate with procurement, customer service, and supply chain departments to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction. Ensure the warehouse is properly equipped, maintained, and organized for operational excellence.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. 6-8 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial role. Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control practices, and logistics procedures. Proven leadership and team management skills in a fast-paced environment. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ERP systems is an advantage. Forklift certification and knowledge of warehouse equipment preferred.

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
