Role : Logistics Supervisor Location: Kuwait
Role Activities :
Works internally and externally to delivers best service (on time, complete and accurate delivery) at lowest possible cost, looking for continuous improvement in daily operations
Monitors Distributor/3PL KPIs and defines corrective actions if needed
Owns the physical operations action plan and ensures timely completion of agreed actions, identify new ideas/solution to support the company Sustainability goals
Ensures legal and internal control compliance with the respective Distributor/3PL, manages inventory counts, audits as per function plan, leads action plan completion in case deviations found
First point of country contact of Distributor/Customer Service/Planning/CD/Regulatory and Quality team related any Logistics activities
Support logistics projects with detailed and appropriate data analysis
Maintain monthly /quarterly logistics cost & efficiency reporting
Maintain and create Business Process Manuals and other process documentation
Driving SHE and Quality agenda, ensuring we always put safety and quality first
Day to day warehousing and distribution operations
Distributor/3PL partnership, developing relations, joint learning, and continuous improvement
Handling interface issues (missing messages, stock and sales transactions when interface is not working) between SAP and Distributor/3PL WMS
Budget management, invoice control vs actuals and vs contract
Ensures legal and regulatory compliance in warehouse and transport operations
Overseeing and performing Stock Controlling operational tasks
Maintaining evaluating CCFOT and OTIF and corrective actions and process streamlining
Data mining & analysis to drive efficiency initiatives, initiate discussions with Customer Service & CD ideas and their verification/implementation
Maintaining weekly /monthly /quarterly logistics efficiency reports
Coordinate and manage Unilever and Distributor/ 3PL Provider (3PLP) needs/requirements and harmonize the process changes and actions within UL and Distributor/3PL operations in case of logistics projects
Implementing new process improvements and optimizations
Qualification and Skills :
Bachelor or Master degree preferably in Logistics Management
2-3 years' working experience in Logistics, Warehouse, Customer Service, FMCG/ Manufacturing and understanding of the local Customs and Regulatory process
Extensive SAP knowledge
Strong analytical skills with problem solving
Power BI capabilities
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Holding a driving license
Ability to work effectively in an autonomous environment while retaining regular links with key stakeholders
Liaise and negotiate with carriers, suppliers/ third parties, contractors, and distributor
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage multiple stakeholders and numerous improvement projects
Negotiation skills & good collaborator
Works well under pressure in a dynamic environment
Strategically plan manage and coordinate logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer services activities
