Under broad direction, supervises all logistics activities in a project, plant or work site. Plans and optimizes efficient movement of goods in compliance with company policies, procedures and local laws, including in-country transportation as well as exportation and importation of goods. Maintains and retains logs and files, including all the relevant support documents, for all movements of materials. Communicates and coordinates with all parties involved in relation to materials movements. Provides necessary tools and support to the Logistics Coordinators. Identifies opportunities for improvement of processes. Skills are typically acquired through completion of an undergraduate degree in foreign trade, international commerce, business or similar discipline and a minimum of 8 years of related experience. International Air Transport Association (IATA) certificate required for international operations.
