Job Description

Job location: Abu Dhabi

Role & Responsibility of the resource Monitor the shipping process, make periodic checks, and adjust equipment and work practices according to standard operating procedures. Arrange vehicles to send products from collection centre to packhouses and finished goods from packhouses to distribution centre, organize the shipment to customers and ensure timely update of the ERP system. Inspect overall package and product quality and ensure compliance with standards and specifications. Ensure compliance of transportation providers with temperature and storage conditions specifications Gather and analyze transportation data to identify trends and opportunities to save costs and improve efficiency. Analyze daily schedules to ensure continuous product supply by managing daily driver availability and ensure equipment resources are provided as necessary. Manage equipment resource availability and ensure preventative maintenance in accordance with standards and regulations. Promote safe work activities by conducting safety inspections and ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. Respond to emergencies including immediate safety concerns and address major logistical challenges (outages, on-site shutdowns, etc.) Determine work to be assigned to vendors and maintain contact with vendors to ensure full compliance. Maintain contact with dealers to ensure warranty repair work is completed as prescribed by warranty issues in a timely manner. Plan and forecast delivery schedules to ensure timely routing and dispatching to maximize fleet utilization and contribute to lower operating costs. Create detailed daily reports of key performance indicators for fleet operations and safety and compliance metrics to aid Logistics management in decision-making. Utilize Microsoft Office software to prepare correspondence, spreadsheets, slide presentations Analyzed problems to identify factors, gather pertinent data, recognize, and implement solutions Identified relationships between data then analyzed the information to draw accurate conclusions. Liaise with the team for daily reports and figures for the fleet availability and offroad trucks - pending defects and repairs - accidents. Adapt procedures, operations, techniques, tools, materials, and/or equipment to meet needs of fleet management; resolve issues/makes working decisions and responsibility with minimal supervision.

Qualification/ Skills Required Judgment and Decision Making Microsoft Office Skills "especially Excel". Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Planning Skills. Communication Skills. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required
