Whether your vessel is located in Khorfakkan, Jebel Ali or any other port in the UAE, our team of seasoned professionals is ready to deliver your food, nautical equipment and medical items, take care of your garbage disposal or provide inspection and maintenance services. Job purpose The Logistics Specialist will arrange/schedule/clear shipments of food and non-food items to/from UAE and will arrange all the necessary application/paperworks/permits connecting with relevant partners/vendors/Authorities Main tasks and responsibilities

• Schedule sea/air reefer and non-reefer shipments to/from UAE both for food and non-food items
• Prepare all the necessary application/paperworks/permits for food and non-food import/export and for distribution in UAE local market connecting with Vendors/Authorities/Logistics partners
• Manage Customs and UAE Authority releases
• Collect and Generate required documentation based upon UAE or country of destination requirements
• Communicate and confirm deliveries with all members throughout the supply chain
• Problem solve with ocean carriers, forwarders, warehouses & truckers
• Negotiate Freight Rates for select shipping lanes
• Work closely with Sales, Operations and Financial Departments

Background and experience At least 5 years exposure in Logistics and Customs in UAE, preferably food. Male/Female candidate, Graduate/ higher courses in Logistics management, good communication skills, Customer care, Product Knowledge, Market intelligence, Networking skills, Negotiation skills etc. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Experience:
