Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical
Logistics Pricing Analyst
to support our pricing strategy, cost modeling, and logistics performance analysis. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with freight/logistics pricing, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, update, and optimize pricing models for freight, shipping, and logistics services.
Analyze transportation costs, market rates, and vendor quotations to provide accurate pricing proposals.
Prepare quotes and pricing sheets for clients in a timely manner.
Evaluate profitability of trade lanes, routes, and carriers.
Collaborate with sales, operations, and procurement teams to align pricing strategies with business goals.
Monitor and report on market trends, competitor rates, and industry benchmarks.
Maintain accurate records of pricing data, rate sheets, and contracts.
Support process improvements for pricing workflows and documentation.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or pricing analysis (preferred).
Strong analytical and numerical skills with proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.
Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and create meaningful insights.
Strong communication skills and ability to work efficiently in a remote environment.
Experience with TMS, ERP, or freight pricing tools is an advantage.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of ocean, air, and land freight rate structures.
Experience working with global logistics carriers and vendors.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple requests.
