Plan and coordinate logistics operations including transportation, shipping, and delivery schedules.
Liaise with suppliers, carriers, and warehouse staff to ensure timely dispatch and receipt of goods.
Monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve transportation issues.
Inventory & Warehousing
Maintain accurate inventory records and manage stock levels to meet operational needs.
Oversee warehousing operations including receiving, storage, and distribution of goods.
Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.
Procurement & Supply Chain Support
Coordinate procurement activities with the purchasing department.
Track orders and ensure procurement aligns with inventory demand.
Support vendor and supplier relationship management.
Documentation & Compliance
Prepare and maintain shipping and receiving records, bills of lading, invoices, and customs documentation.
Ensure compliance with local and international regulations regarding logistics and transportation.
Maintain proper documentation for audit and reporting purposes.
Logistics Optimization
Identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements in logistics processes.
Analyze logistics data to identify trends and implement solutions to streamline operations.
Utilize logistics software systems for tracking and reporting.
Job Requirement
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in logistics or supply chain roles.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Knowledge of import/export regulations and transportation laws is a plus.
