Job Summary: Looking for a Logistics Officer in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE)

Job Qualifications and Experience

The applicant must have a Bachelor\'s Degree in Logistics Management or any relevant course
Minimum 2 years of related working experience required
Must be able to handle and prepare shipping documents i.e. Bill of Lading, cert of origin as well as related transport documents and follow up on shipments
Familiarity with \xe2\x80\x9cletter of credits\xe2\x80\x9d would be a great advantage
Experience in local clearance of cargo, transportation as well as the know-how with local UAE customs formalities will be an advantage
Must have excellent communication and coordination skills with various parties involved in the business such as suppliers, forwarders, Insurance companies, Chamber of commerce, Clearing agents, customs, etc
Strong understanding of logistics procedures and industry best practices
Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities as well as deadlines
Must be familiar with relevant regulations and compliance standards in the logistics industry
Must be detail-oriented and committed to maintaining accurate records and documentation
