Description
Looking for a Logistics Officer for Al-Wakrah, Qatar.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies.
- Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements.
- Ensure all items are properly stored.
- Ensure consistency of warehouse documentation and reporting.
- Supervise and Update the Stock Fulfilment Plan and support contingency requirements.
- Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization.
- Ensure loss reports are drafted and sent to the Manager.
- Supervise that the Warehouse is properly set up, cleaning and security conditions are respected.
- Ensure physical inventories are conducted on a monthly basis.
- Maintain asset list and submit monthly revisions to the Manager.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor degree holder.
- Three to four years experience as an Logistics Officer.
- Proclivity for catching errors and enacting appropriate change.
- Knowledge of computer Applications.
- Good time management and prioritizing capabilities.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Dynamic and confident individual.
