Reports directly to the Construction Manager. Assist the Construction Logistics Manager in detailed logistic planning. Include planning routes from work sites to off-load sites for the effective removal of excavated material. Determining bus routes from accommodation to work site locations for the manual workforce, and, more generally, ensuring the effective transit of all material around the project. Help for movement permissions, road conditions and the impact of traffic on the delivery of the logistic plan. Provide on the ground co-ordination between the project and the subcontractor. Assist the Construction Logistic Manager in keeping the sub-contractor informed of any changes to the program schedule, which may result in changes to the numbers of sub-contracted assets employed on a particular task. The Construction Logistics Officer will have a solid working knowledge of warehouse management and material distribution, to include the management of small tools and consumable items. Possess the logistic knowledge and Arabic language skills to engage with the UAE Municipality and local companies without additional assistance. Agile and flexible enough to respond to short notice changes in his job description, in order to meet the changing requirements of the project. Excavated Material Removal Successful planning and delivery of the excavated material removal process in accordance with company procedures. Manual Labor Transport Successful delivery of manual labor at worksite locations, in line with agreed shift patterns. Water re-supply, both potable and construction water Provision of an effective water replenishment service, which successfully delivers potable and construction water to all worksites when required by the different delivery areas. Portable toilets and sewage removal Provision of an effective toilet emptying and sewage removal service. Warehouse Management Receipt and Distribution Effective distribution of material from different warehouse locations to construction worksites.
