About the role: Within Gunnebo Middle East, the role of the Manager - Logistics is to manage and coordinate the company\xe2\x80\x99s logistics and supply chain function including warehousing, material management, distribution, and transportation to meet the company\xe2\x80\x99s business requirements. KPI\xe2\x80\x99s for this role is: Order Management | Logistics Management | Compliance | Inventory Control | Management Reporting Workplace: Gunnebo Middle East \xe2\x80\x93 Dubai Duration: This is permanent full-time position Reporting to: This position reports to the Vice President Finance (MEA)
What you will do:

• Implements established logistic and supply chain policies, procedures, and practices to meet requirements supporting short- and long-term business needs
• Manages purchasing of materials and equipment to ensure an uninterrupted supply at optimum cost
• Manages logistics activities required for the timely and efficient transportation and warehousing of incoming and outgoing materials and distribution of products
• Ensures connection between sales, purchasing, production control, and warehousing to support the organization and optimize costs
• Prepare monthly inventory reports, weekly sales forecasts, regularly provides updates on delivery dates. Ensure up to date information is reflecting in the ERP system
• Manages, trains, motivates, and assesses performance of a small team of professionals

Who we are looking for:
Experience:

• Candidate should have 3-5 years of experience in a freight forwarding operations
• Candidate should be fluent in English, both written and oral. Arabic and any other language will be an advantage
• Experience in ERP environment (preferable in Microsoft D-365)
• Candidate should be meticulous, detail-oriented, and well-organized, capable to handle multiple priorities and multi-tasking while respecting deadlines
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Understand importance of being a team player
• Customer focused

Knowledge / Education:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Supply Chain Management is preferred, but will also consider Business Administration or other relevant qualification
• 3-5 years of experience in a freight forwarding
• Excellent communication skills English is required \xe2\x80\x93 any additional language skills will be an advantage
