Role Purpose

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating all logistics activities on the construction site. This includes material handling, equipment movement, delivery scheduling, traffic management, storage planning, and ensuring that all site logistics operations are carried out in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and monitor all site logistics operations to support construction activities. Coordinate with procurement, suppliers, subcontractors, and site teams for timely delivery of materials and equipment. Develop and implement site logistics plans (traffic routes, loading/unloading areas, storage zones). Maintain accurate records of material deliveries, equipment usage, and logistics activities. Monitor and control the movement of materials, plant, and personnel within the site. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations during all logistics activities. Liaise with site security for vehicle entry/exit control and delivery verification. Optimize storage areas to avoid congestion and ensure proper material handling. Support project planning team with material delivery schedules aligned with construction program. Resolve logistics-related issues and provide quick solutions to avoid project delays. Prepare periodic logistics reports for management review.
