Position Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive
Logistics Assistant
to support our logistics and supply chain operations. The role involves coordinating shipments, handling documentation, ensuring timely delivery, and supporting the team with administrative and operational tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in
coordinating import/export shipments
and ensure timely delivery.
Prepare and verify shipping documents
(invoices, packing lists, bills of landing, certificates of origin, etc.).
Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
Track shipments and provide status updates
to the logistics and sales teams.
Maintain accurate records
of all shipping and logistics-related documentation.
Support customs clearance processes and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Assist with logistics cost tracking and vendor invoice verification.
Provide
administrative support
to the logistics team as required.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
Prior experience in logistics, supply chain, or shipping is preferred but not mandatory.
Knowledge of shipping documentation and customs procedures is an advantage.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Good communication skills (written and verbal).
Ability to work in a fast-paced, international business environment.
