Job responsibilities:
Oversee and manage daily logistics and operations activities to meet business objectives.
Lead cross-border logistics operations, with a focus on land transport.
Coordinate with transport providers to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize logistics processes and reduce costs
Ensure all operations comply with local and international regulations.
Supervise and mentor a team of logistics staff, including drivers.
Serve as the primary point of contact for all logistics-related communications.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics/operations, with at least 3 years in cross-border logistics involving land transport.
Proven track record in managing logistics operations in the GCC region or similar
Excellent computer literacy, including proficiency in ERP software and MS Office.
Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Hindi and Arabic is highly desirable.
Must hold a valid Qatar driving license.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international environment.
