Equipment Management:
Oversee the maintenance, inspection, and proper use of lifting equipment, ensuring correct SWL (Safe Working Load) is used for the weight being lifted.
Personnel Management:
Supervise and manage lifting teams, ensuring personnel are properly trained and equipped for lifting operations.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain records of lifting operations, including inspections, maintenance, and any incidents, ensuring proper documentation and reporting.
Technical Expertise:
Provide technical support and guidance on lifting operations, troubleshooting issues and providing solutions.
Liaison and Communication:
Communicate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand lifting requirements and project timelines.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Experience:
Proven experience in logistics management, particularly in lifting operations.
Lifting Certificate:
Possession of a valid lifting certificate.
Technical Knowledge:
Strong understanding of safety regulations, lifting equipment, and lifting procedures.
Communication Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various stakeholders.
