Job Description

A lovely family in downtown Dubai is seeking a live-in Norland nanny for their 9-month-old daughter to start ASAP. The schedule is to be determined but will be between Monday and Saturday, with flexibility sometimes needed. For the right candidate the family would consider a 5 day working week. A very comfortable separate apartment is provided with a private bedroom and bathroom in the building, that the nanny would share with the other employees.

Job responsibilities include the care and engagement of their daughter. This includes, but is not limited to, engaging her in developmentally-appropriate play and activities, educating the parents and making suggestions about toys and classes to further her development, and light housekeeping related to the child. The family has a full-time housekeeper and will have a chef or cook, so preparing meals will not be required, but guidance on nutrition and meals will be appreciated. They also have another nanny (who will work under the new nanny to be hired) who works the overnight shift and sleeps in the room with the baby. Both parents are very involved and will be in and out of the home throughout the day. The ideal candidate is a Norland graduate, but the family is open to considering candidates without that qualification if they have similar training and education. The family requires a nanny who is travel-ready, well-versed in infant and toddler development, is professional, and is experienced in a similar live-in role.

The nanny will be provided 30 days annual vacation plus extra time off throughout the year (in accordance with the family's travel schedule). A competitive annual salary will be provided for the hired candidate. The position is open to candidates worldwide, so please apply if interested to EH001.
