We are looking for a skilled

Lighting Technician

to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining lighting systems for events, installations, and productions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with lighting equipment, a strong technical background, and an eye for detail in creating immersive lighting environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up, operate, and maintain lighting systems for events, concerts, theatre productions, and other live events. Work closely with event producers, AV technicians, and other team members to achieve the desired lighting effects and meet production requirements. Program and operate lighting consoles and control systems (e.g., DMX, LED, moving lights, spotlights). Troubleshoot and resolve technical lighting issues during rehearsals and live events. Maintain inventory of lighting equipment and ensure it is in good working condition. Provide technical support and ensure lighting is set up to meet safety standards and regulations. Assist in the design and layout of lighting systems for specific events or venues. Perform routine testing and maintenance of lighting equipment and systems.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a

Lighting Technician

or similar role in live events, theatre, or entertainment production. Strong knowledge of lighting equipment, control systems, and programming. Familiarity with industry-standard lighting software and hardware (e.g., ETC, Avolites, GrandMA, Chauvet). Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced, live event environments. Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to quickly resolve technical issues. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with production teams. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel to event locations as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with special effects lighting (e.g., lasers, fog machines, moving lights). Knowledge of rigging and electrical safety procedures. Familiarity with CAD software or lighting design tools for creating lighting plots and layouts.
