Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking

Furniture Truck Driver

to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting and delivering furniture to customers' homes and businesses. You will work with a team to ensure timely and efficient deliveries, as well as assist with loading and unloading furniture.

Responsibilities

:

Drive Delivery Truck

: Safely operate a company truck to deliver furniture to customers' locations.

Load and Unload Furniture

: Assist with loading and unloading furniture, ensuring proper handling to avoid damage.

Customer Interaction

: Provide exceptional customer service, communicating delivery times, and handling inquiries or concerns.

Route Planning

: Plan the most efficient delivery routes to ensure timely deliveries.

Furniture Setup

: In some cases, help assemble or place furniture in customers' homes or businesses.

Ensure Furniture Protection

: Safely secure furniture inside the truck using moving straps, blankets, or other materials.

Maintain the Truck

: Perform routine checks on the truck, including ensuring it is clean and in good working condition.

Safety Compliance

: Follow all safety regulations and company policies when driving and handling goods.

Qualifications

:

Valid

Driver's License

(required) Proven experience driving a delivery truck or similar vehicle Ability to lift heavy furniture and work in a physically demanding environment Strong communication skills and customer service experience Ability to follow directions and navigate routes Experience in handling delicate or fragile items is a plus A good driving record and punctuality are essential Ability to work independently and as part of a team
