Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced

Light/Heavy Truck Driver

to support logistics operations in the UAE oil and gas sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transporting equipment and materials to various remote and industrial sites, with a strong commitment to safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate light or heavy trucks (including 4.2-meter and larger vehicles) to transport materials, tools, and equipment between warehouses, project sites, and remote oilfield locations. Conduct routine pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and functionality. Secure cargo properly using appropriate methods to prevent damage or shifting during transport. Follow scheduled delivery plans and transport documentation procedures. Adhere to all UAE road transport regulations and company HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) policies. Maintain accurate vehicle logs, fuel usage records, and delivery documentation. Coordinate loading and unloading activities with warehouse and field personnel. Report mechanical issues, incidents, or delays promptly to the transport supervisor.

Requirements:

Valid UAE Driving License for Light and/or Heavy Vehicles (Category 3 and/or 4 as applicable).

Minimum 3 years of experience

operating

light and/or heavy trucks

, preferably within the

oil and gas industry in the UAE

. Strong knowledge of UAE road routes, especially oilfield and desert access roads. Familiarity with vehicle safety inspections, cargo securing methods, and HSE practices. Ability to work in remote locations and under extreme weather conditions. Good communication skills and professional conduct.

Preferred:

Experience with desert or off-road driving. Certifications in Defensive Driving, H2S Awareness, or Basic Fire Safety. Mechanical aptitude to identify and report vehicle issues.
