We are seeking an experienced

Lifting Supervisor

with strong knowledge of lifting operations, lifting equipment and accessories, and

international lifting regulations including LOLER

and third-party inspection compliance. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the safe execution of lifting activities on construction sites in accordance with local and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise all lifting operations on-site and ensure they are carried out in accordance with

LOLER, local authority requirements, and international safety standards

. Inspect lifting equipment and accessories to verify proper certification,

LOLER compliance

, and valid third-party approvals. Prepare and review lifting plans, method statements, and risk assessments in coordination with engineering and HSE teams. Ensure all lifting personnel, including riggers and crane operators, are competent, certified, and compliant with

LOLER and international best practices

. Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings related to lifting activities and regulatory compliance. Monitor site conditions and take corrective actions to prevent incidents and unsafe lifting practices. Maintain accurate records of lifting operations, equipment inspections, and statutory examinations as per

LOLER and project requirements

Requirements

Minimum

3 years of experience

as a Lifting Supervisor in the construction or infrastructure industry. In-depth knowledge of lifting equipment, lifting accessories, and

third-party inspection requirements

.

Valid Lifting Supervisor certification (LEEA mandatory).

Strong working knowledge of

LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations)

. Familiarity with international lifting standards and guidelines such as

BS, ISO, ASME, OSHA, and relevant UAE regulations

. Good communication, coordination, and leadership skills. Strong understanding of site safety, hazard identification, and control measures during lifting operations.
