Job Description
Minimum Required Qualifications
Education
Diploma/Bachelors Degree in Engineering - Mechanical
Training/
Specialty
LEEA Certification, Diploma in Lifting Equipment Inspection and certification, In-house training in Inspection of Equipment in Hazardous Areas (Zone II), NDE, H2S, Breathing Apparatus, Fire fighting Training, Basic First Aid, Offshore/Sea Survival.
Technical knowledge
Fundamentals of Lifts, Elevators, Escalators, Lifting and Handling Equipment
Experience
Min 5 years in inspection and certification (Lifting Surveyor)
Min. 10 years in inspection and certification (Senior Lifting Surveyor)
Responsibilities / Authorities
Primary Functions
Conduct Inspections. Prepare ReportsTechnical Expertise
Knowledge of the working of machinery Quality StandardsBusiness Requirements
Inspection & Verification by adhering to Quality Standards and Federal Legal requirementsSelf Management
