Position Overview
This role ensures safe and compliant lifting operations across all operational sites. It manages the technical aspects of handling, inspecting, testing, certifying, and maintaining fixed and portable lifting equipment, while ensuring full alignment with ADNOC standards and HSE requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Ensure implementation of company lifting standards, code of practice, and approved procedures across all sites.
Verify that all lifting operations follow approved technical requirements and HSE procedures.
Act as the technical focal point for lifting equipment and support user competency.
Ensure lifting equipment is inspected before use and at required intervals, and approve action plans for third party inspections and certifications.
Participate in developing and updating technical documents related to lifting equipment.
Take part in auditing company and contractor lifting activities for compliance with standards.
Participate in investigations of crane and lifting equipment incidents or failures.
Review and approve lifting plans for all reported lifting activities and ensure site teams understand the requirements.
Ensure equipment or procedural changes follow plant modification processes.
Ensure compliance with LIMS and CP 113 and verify all lifting equipment is endorsed by approved third party inspection agencies.
Follow up on audit actions and ensure closure of required corrective measures.
Participate in periodic verification and auditing of approved third party inspectors to confirm competence, quality, and compliance.
Maintain strong communication with engineering disciplines and project teams to manage interfaces and coordinate lifting controls.
Identify risks related to lifting equipment and support the implementation of safe working practices.
Ideal Profile
Bachelor degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or an equivalent qualification.
Minimum six years of relevant experience in lifting operations, preferably within the oil and gas industry.
Strong understanding of lifting equipment standards, inspection processes, certification requirements, and risk management.
