Legal Operations Manager, Technology

We are seeking an experienced Legal Operations Manager to join an in-house legal department in Abu Dhabi. This is a unique opportunity for a candidate with strong legal operations expertise to work at the forefront of technology, in a dynamic and exciting environment. The role involves supporting their legal team in driving efficiencies, best practices, and solutions to enable more effective delivery of legal services to an in-house platform.

Crucially, you can either be a legal operations manager already, or someone (such a qualified lawyer) who can show capability to move into this growing area of legal tech and support.

ROLE: As a newly created position, you\xe2\x80\x99ll be expected to arrive with ideas and a passion for what you do. However, some guideline about the day to day workings of the position is offered below:

• Develop and implement operational strategies to support the legal team in their day-to-day work.
• Collaborate with the legal team to identify and implement technology solutions that will enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Lead projects to streamline legal operations and improve workflows.
• Identify opportunities to optimize the use of legal resources and improve legal team productivity.
• Develop and manage budgets for legal operations.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
• Provide training and support to the legal team on technology solutions and best practices.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.
• You\xe2\x80\x99ll be working in Abu Dhabi, though you can commute from Dubai if you wish.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

• Higher education in law or a related field.
• Minimum of 4+ years of experience in legal operations, preferably in a law firm or technology / innovation-focused organisation.
• Strong understanding of legal operations, including workflow, technology solutions, and project management.
• Experience managing budgets and resources.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
