We are working with a prominent UAE based Group with a diversified portfolio spanning mulitple different sectors to find an experienced Legal Counsel to join the team based in Abu Dhabi.
Corporate Legal Counsel (7+ PQE)
An exceptional opportunity has opened for a Corporate Legal Counsel to join a highly respected investment and infrastructure group headquartered in the UAE. The role offers exposure to complex commercial transactions, group structuring across multiple jurisdictions, and high-level strategic advisory work-within a well-established legal function that supports group-wide growth and compliance.
The Role
As a core member of the legal team, you will:
Lead the drafting, negotiation, and review of a wide range of legal and commercial agreements, including shareholder agreements, joint ventures, leases, distribution contracts, and M&A documentation.
Advise on corporate governance, risk mitigation, and regulatory matters across a multi-jurisdictional structure.
Support group companies on operations, company formations, restructurings, and dissolution processes.
Monitor and advise on relevant legal and regulatory changes (UAE and abroad) impacting the Group.
Partner with executive leadership to guide high-value transactions and business-critical decisions.
Contribute to legal process improvement initiatives and departmental training/development.
To be considered for this position you must have:
7+ years of legal experience, ideally with a mix of law firm and in-house (group structure or investment firm experience preferred).
Strong expertise in corporate and commercial law within the UAE; multi-jurisdictional exposure is a plus.
Proven ability to interpret and negotiate complex legal documents and communicate advice clearly to senior stakeholders.
Fluency in Arabic and English is essential.
