Job Description
Job Summary:
The Legal Counsel provides legal advice and support to the company on a wide range of issues including corporate law, commercial contracts, compliance, litigation, labor law, and regulatory matters. The role requires strong knowledge of local and international laws and excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, NDAs, MOUs, and other legal documents. Advise management on legal risks and liabilities. Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations (local and international). Handle legal disputes and coordinate with external legal counsel when necessary. Support corporate governance, licensing, and regulatory filings. Conduct legal research and provide guidance on labor law, data protection, and intellectual property. Train internal departments on legal policies and compliance standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB or equivalent); Master's or JD preferred. Licensed to practice law in [insert country or jurisdiction]. 5+ years of experience in a legal advisory or corporate legal role. Proficiency in Arabic and English (spoken and written). Strong analytical, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
