Job Description

The Legal Associate position involves providing expert legal advice; working on cross-border transactions; drafting contracts; and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations across a variety of sectors. • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of legal documents and agreements.
• Provide accurate and timely legal advice to internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Support the legal team in structuring, drafting, and negotiating a wide range of cross-border investment and M&A transactions across multiple jurisdictions.
• Conduct legal research and risk analysis on corporate, regulatory, and compliance matters relevant to target markets and deal structures.
• Liaise with external counsel and internal stakeholders to ensure timely execution of transactions and alignment with legal and business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Assist in managing legal disputes and liaise with external counsel when necessary.
• Monitor regulatory developments and advise the organisation on potential impacts.
• Support the legal department in maintaining organised records and documentation.
• Work collaboratively with other departments to facilitate smooth business operations.

A successful Legal Associate should have:

• A degree in Law or equivalent professional legal qualification.
• Experience in drafting and reviewing legal documents.
• Strong knowledge of UAE laws and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and technology.
