The Leadman Supervisor in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) is responsible for overseeing and coordinating MEP activities. This role involves managing a team of technicians, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and coordinating with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of MEP systems installation, maintenance, and repairs within the project timelines.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and Lead MEP Team:
o Oversee a team of technicians and workers in the installation, maintenance, and renovation of MEP systems.
o Assign tasks to team members and ensure they are completed efficiently and safely.
o Provide guidance and training to junior staff and ensure continuous development.
Project Coordination:
o Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other departments to ensure smooth coordination of MEP tasks within the renovation project.
o Monitor the project timeline, ensuring MEP-related work is completed on schedule.
o Ensure proper material management, including inventory control and timely procurement of materials.
Quality Control & Compliance:
o Ensure all MEP installations meet design specifications, codes, and quality standards.
o Conduct regular site inspections to verify that all work complies with project requirements, local regulations, and safety standards.
o Troubleshoot any issues and take corrective actions as necessary.
Safety Management:
o Enforce strict safety protocols on-site to ensure a safe working environment for all staff.
o Conduct safety meetings and toolbox talks with the team to raise awareness of potential hazards and safety procedures.
o Report any safety incidents or violations and ensure corrective actions are taken.
Documentation and Reporting:
o Maintain accurate daily logs and reports of work progress, issues, and completed tasks.
o Ensure all MEP-related paperwork, including inspection reports and certificates, is up to date and available when required.
Problem-Solving:
o Identify and resolve technical or logistical challenges that arise during the renovation process.
o Collaborate with the project team to find efficient and cost-effective solutions to issues related to MEP systems
Customer Relations:
o Provide assistance and technical support to clients when necessary.
o Ensure that the work done meets client expectations and resolves any concerns in a timely manner.
Requirements
Proven experience (3+ years) in MEP systems installation, maintenance, and supervision in renovation or construction projects.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
In-depth knowledge of MEP systems, construction processes, and safety regulations.
Relevant certifications or training in MEP systems, safety, or construction management is a plus.
