Mark Williams is working with a prestigious Abu Dhabi Government entity with the mandate to consolidate services and govern multiple affiliates. They are launching an exciting new One ERP Program and are looking to recruit an experienced Enterprise Architect Lead to join the team

Role:

The Enterprise Architect is responsible for developing and implementing an enterprise architecture strategy across the program aligned to goals and objectives

Responsibilities:

- Define and maintain the organization\'s enterprise architecture vision, goals, and principles
- Create a roadmap for the evolution of the enterprise architecture to support business growth and transformation
- Conduct research and analysis of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to inform architectural decisions
- Design and document the current and target enterprise architecture, including business processes, information systems, data models, application landscapes, and technology infrastructure
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to identify and prioritize architectural initiatives and projects
- Ensure architectural designs adhere to established standards, guidelines, and governance processes
- Collaborate with procurement and vendor management teams to evaluate and select technology vendors and service providers
- Engage and collaborate with business leaders, executives, and IT teams to understand business needs and translate them into architectural solutions
- Facilitate communication and alignment between business and IT stakeholders regarding architectural decisions, priorities, and trade-offs
- Present architectural proposals, roadmaps, and business cases to senior management and other stakeholders
- Establish and enforce architectural standards, guidelines, and best practices
- Develop and implement an enterprise architecture governance framework to ensure compliance and consistency across projects and initiatives
- Monitor and assess the impact of architectural changes on existing systems and infrastructure, ensuring minimal disruption and risks

Requirements:

- Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Proven experience (e.g., 10+ years) working as an Enterprise Architect or in a similar roles
- In-depth knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) and architectural principles
- Strong understanding of business processes, information systems, data management, and technology infrastructure
- Experience with: Infrastructure/cloud, Oracle/ERP, Microsoft 365, ServiceNow, business integrations, employee facing systems, integration tooling
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and translate business requirements into architectural solutions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage with diverse stakeholders, including technical and non-technical audiences
- Familiarity with IT governance frameworks, compliance standards (e.g., ISO, GDPR), and security best practices
