Job Summary

Reporting to the Inforce Engagement Lead, the Lead Data Scientist is expected to develop meaningful insights, knowledge and understanding of our customers to inform and influence business strategy and build customer relationship.
Job Accountabilities
As Lead Data Scientist, you role will involve:

• To identify the "why" behind customer behaviors and predict evolving customer needs, data is powerful.
• Responsible for key outputs in supporting the coordination and delivery of research projects, providing information as needed to connect customer insight to business performance to help inform stakeholders.
• Part of the teams working on customer behavioral , competitor and category trends, it works within defined procedures to support how recommendations for business and customer plans are formed through the lens of customer insights, and builds own knowledge of customer needs, behaviours and pain points.
• When working on research projects, the role applies knowledge of a variety of processes and methodologies to the needs of each project.
• Support the management of insight database resources, by being responsible for quality and accuracy in executing processes. This helps ensure the accessibility of insight and the value of new research projects. It also supports those in the research and insights team with expertise.

Job Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent), and prior experience in a related field.
• Understanding of Insurance, corporate savings and pensions/ end of service benefits being strongly preferred.
• Previous experience working within an international and diverse cultural organization would be beneficial.
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset.Accuracy and Attention to details.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office packages - Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills both written and verbal English.

Programming Skills:

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.

Familiarity with data manipulation libraries like Pandas, NumPy, and dplyr.
Data Visualization:

• Expertise in data visualization tools and libraries specially Power Bl.
• Ability to create clear and impactful visualizations to convey insights.

Database Management:

• Proficiency in SOL and experience with database management systems.
• Ability to extract and manipulate data from relational databases.
