Role: Lead- Data Architect

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Fulltime Hire

-Working practice on cloud service providers like AWS or Azure data strategy, migration, cloud data architecture framework and best practices

-Business process management and document management along with data asset definition

- Design-thinking skills

-Conceptual, logical and physical modeling

- Data regulatory policies and framework: GDPR, SOX, Basel 3, ...

Skills

Minimum Experience

At least 10 years of hands-on experience in technology services with a banking industry background, with at least 5 years in a managerial capacity for data architecture development and management of financial applications/technical systems

Strong communications and presentation skills;

- General technical skills: RDBMS, No-Sql, AI Platform, Machine learning, AirFlow orchestration, Cloudera, AWS BigData, data warehouse, Azure DataFactory, MDM, ETL, SOA/XML schema, BPM platforms, ESB Middleware, Kafka, API management, data storage technologies, data management platform.

-Understanding of metamodels, taxonomies and ontologies, as well as of the challenges of applying structured techniques (data modeling) to less-structured sources

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science or equivalent

Professional Qualifications

TOGAF Open Architecture Framework certification or equivalent

Knowledge and Skills

-Data engineering, Bigdata platforms, data Warehousing, data lake and master data management experience

-Enterprise architecture tools: Alphabet, Mega, Orbus

- Industry standard data modeling tools (ErWin, UML, ...)

-A strong knowledge of core banking, risk and lending technical and functional architectures.
