About the role




In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end flow of MEP-related materials at Corporate Services Store in support of the maintenance operations team. The role plays a critical bridge between the technical (maintenance) and logistical (store/warehouse) functions, ensuring availability, traceability, and proper handling of spare parts and materials essential for smooth facility operation.


Other responsibilities will be inclusive of, but not limited to the following:


Collaborate closely with the maintenance team to forecast, plan and manage spares required for both preventive and reactive maintenance.

Translate technical needs into precise material requests, ensuring correct identification, specification and timely availability.

Oversee the receipt, inspection, storage and issuance of all MEP related items and consumables, ensuring accuracy in stock levels, cycle counts and physical verifications.

Optimize warehouse layout for quick retrieval, safety compliance and space efficiency whilst implementing systematic warehouse practices.

Manage all material transactions using Oracle Materials management or equivalent ERP system and maintain documentation for audits, ISO compliance and internal policies.

Create and monitor Material Requisitions, Goods Receipts, Issue Slips, Stock Transfers and Returns to have effective controls and avoid audit queries later.

Responsible for end-to-end operations of Corporate Services Stores ensuring items are available within the store; if not, solutions to be provided for alternative course of action to avoid disruption of operations.

Regularly evaluate the department or teams' objectives, plans, procedures and practices, and makes appropriate changes if needed.

Oversee and supervise employees, direct daily activities, recruit, train, develop and discipline to ensure a high standard of service delivery. Responsible to manage operations in the absence of line manager to avoid operational disruptions.

Qualifications



About you




Bachelor's Engineering Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering with Minimum 5 years of job-related experience.

7 or more years' experience in a relevant support services position.

Knowledge of warehousing practices.

Understanding of preventive maintenance programs and spare parts planning.

Hands on knowledge of Oracle ERP or similar systems.

Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Proven ability to work under pressure to defined timescales.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
