Job Description

A landscape site engineer is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the execution of landscaping projects from inception to completion. This role involves ensuring that all aspects of the project align with design specifications, environmental standards, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Management: Collaborate with landscape architects and designers to understand project requirements. Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resources, and budget allocation. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met. Site Supervision and Quality Control: Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and adherence to design specifications. Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of workmanship. Address any issues or delays promptly to minimize project disruptions. Resource Management: Manage resources effectively, including materials, equipment, and manpower. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on site. Optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency and minimize costs. Client Relations: Act as a point of contact for clients and provide updates on project progress. Address client concerns or requests in a timely and professional manner. Maintain positive relationships with clients to foster trust and satisfaction. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of project activities, expenses, and progress reports. Prepare comprehensive reports for stakeholders, highlighting key achievements and challenges. Document any changes or variations to the original project scope. Environmental and Sustainability Considerations: Ensure landscaping projects comply with environmental regulations and sustainability principles. Implement eco-friendly practices and recommend sustainable solutions where possible.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field. Proven experience in landscape construction or site engineering, with a strong understanding of landscaping principles and techniques. Excellent project management skills, including the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficiency in project management software and tools. Knowledge of health and safety regulations in construction and landscaping.

Preferred Qualifications:

Professional certification (e.g., Professional Engineer or Certified Landscape Professional). Experience with landscape design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp). Previous experience in managing landscaping projects of varying scales and complexities. Can join immediately. Locally available. Valid UAE driving license
