JOB PURPOSE: Nursery managers are responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a nursery. These horticultural specialists hire and train nursery workers, grow plants, create displays, respond to customer queries, and manage stock levels. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES: Should have experience in setting up nurseries Overseeing and improving the daily functions of the nursery. Hiring and training nursery staff. Inventory Management (Plants, Materials, equipment) Annual Operating Plan Formation, Budgeting Creating staff work rosters and delegating duties. Ordering nursery stock including soil, stones, fertilizers, shrubs, plants, and trees. Growing plants, trees, and shrubs to use as stock. Monitoring the quality of plants, soil condition Monitoring weather conditions and paying special attention to hot or cold temperatures. Creating attractive garden and plant displays. Responding to customer requests and assisting the nursery staff. Preparing Production and Transplantation report (daily and monthly) and all other reports based on the requirement. Making sure the plant quality is well maintained for the sales. Knowledge, skills, and experience required Middle East Experience is a must Indoor Plants knowledge is a must Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree (Horticulture / Agriculture). Additional certification or license would be an added advantage. Experience in a similar role is a must. Experience working as part of a team. Detailed knowledge of plant production, soil, fertilizers, and growing techniques. Ability to follow instructions and collaborate with others. Experience with hiring and training staff. Excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for customer service. Knowledge in importing plants a minimum of 10 to 15 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a similar role Preferred European Salary Details: AED 20,000 to AED 25,000 Standard benefits as per UAE laws Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: AED20,000.00 - AED25,000.00 per month
