Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections to verify that landscape and site works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and contract requirements
• Supervise hardscape and softscape works including parks, playgrounds, irrigation systems, planting, and water features
• Inspect associated civil works such as roads, sidewalks, curbs, drainage, signage, and site utilities
• Monitor compliance with storm water pollution prevention plans and traffic control requirements
• Verify that only approved materials are used and properly installed on site
• Maintain daily site diaries, inspection records, quantity calculations, and photographic documentation
• Prepare daily inspection reports and other contractual documentation
• Review and file certificates of compliance, safety data sheets, inspection tags, and material approvals
• Track installed quantities to support payment applications and change order verification
• Identify potential conflicts, nonconformance, or quality issues and recommend corrective actions
• Coordinate with subconsultants for surveying, material testing, and specialist inspections
• Support job safety practices, quality control procedures, and emergency site response when required
• Provide guidance to junior inspectors and assist with technical inspections as assigned
• Ensure all activities are carried out with full regard for public safety and site safety standards

Ideal Profile

• Diploma or associate degree in a construction or technical discipline, or equivalent field experience
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline is preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of field inspection experience on construction or infrastructure projects
• Knowledge of landscaping, site development, and associated civil works
• Familiarity with construction safety practices; OSHA safety training is an advantage
• Strong reporting, documentation, and coordination skills
• Preference for candidates based in Abu Dhabi
