Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop creative, context-sensitive landscape and public realm solutions for urban projects of varying scales.
• Prepare conceptual, schematic, and detailed design packages, including planting, hardscape, and 3D visualization drawings.
• Support senior landscape architects in project delivery, documentation, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
• Manage time and resources effectively to meet design milestones and deliver high-quality outputs.
• Collaborate with architects, urban planners, engineers, and environmental specialists to ensure integrated project delivery.
• Prepare presentations, reports, and design narratives that communicate design intent to clients and stakeholders.
• Apply sustainable design principles, local construction techniques, and region-specific plant knowledge to ensure durability and efficiency.
• Participate in design reviews, internal critiques, and quality control procedures to uphold Parsons' design standards.
• Support the development of BIM-based workflows and design documentation using relevant software tools.

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field from an accredited university.
• Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in landscape design, preferably in the UAE or GCC region.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Land FX; knowledge of BIM and parametric design tools is an advantage.
• Understanding of industry codes, sustainability standards, and local construction methodologies.
• Strong visualization and graphic communication skills.
• Excellent coordination, problem-solving, and presentation abilities.
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work collaboratively and independently.
• Working toward professional accreditation (CMLI, ASLA, ALIA) is desirable.
• Fluency in English (verbal and written); Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
