Land Transport Planning Specialist
Job Description
Qualifications:
Transport Planning Engineer with a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in transport planning and using Qatar's Strategic Transport Model.
Proficiency in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
:
Responsible for updating the State of Qatar's Transport Model, ensuring high international standards for both road and public transport networks.
Use the model to prepare and prioritize preliminary transport plans based on administrative requirements.
Review and assess project feasibility referred by the department director.
Utilize the model for preparing traffic policies such as integrated public transport and demand management procedures.
Manage public transport network projects and assist in preparing terms of reference for development projects.
* Supervise consultants and contractors daily, monitor progress, and prepare periodic performance reports.
