Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Land Surveyor with experience in facade construction, particularly in aluminium and glass systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing precise site measurements, setting out works, and ensuring that facade elements are installed accurately according to design specifications. This role is critical in supporting the successful execution of high-quality facade projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct topographical and boundary surveys for facade construction sites. Set out reference points and elevations for aluminium and glass installation (curtain walls, cladding, structural glazing, etc.). Verify site levels, grid lines, and alignment based on approved shop drawings and facade design details. Liaise with engineers, architects, and site supervisors to ensure measurements align with structural and aesthetic requirements. Use total stations, GPS, and laser levels for precise layout and measurement tasks. Prepare and maintain accurate survey records, site sketches, as-built reports, and measurement logs. Perform checks on subcontractor setting out and ensure compliance with project specifications. Monitor verticality, alignment, and plumb of facade elements during and after installation. Assist the QA/QC team with inspection, dimensional verification, and snagging processes. Ensure all survey works adhere to health and safety regulations and project timelines.

Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum 3-5 years of land surveying experience in the construction industry, with at least 2 years in facade / aluminium & glass systems. Strong understanding of curtain wall systems, structural glazing, and unitized panels. Proficiency in using surveying instruments (Total Station, Auto Level, GPS). Experience with AUTOCAD software and digital survey tools. Excellent attention to detail and spatial awareness. Strong communication and coordination skills. Familiarity with local construction standards and codes related to facade systems.
