Job Description
The laborer will be responsible for assissting with various physical tasks in construction, landscape, or other labor-intensive environments. The primary duties include manual labor, operating machinery, and maintaining a clean and safe work area. This role requires a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and the ability to effectively as part of a team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials and equipment. Assist with setup and cleanup of work sites including removing debris and disposing of waste materials. Operate hand tools and power equipment as directed by supervisors. Assist skilled tradespeople, such as masons, carpenters or electricians, with their tasks. Follow safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe work environment for oneself and others. Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas, including storage areas and equipment. Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers to coordinate tasks and ensure productivity. Adhere to project schedules and deadlines to complete tasks in a timely manner. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or project managers.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods. Basic knowledge of hand tools and power equipment. Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills. Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team. Good communication skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED1,200.00 - AED2,000.00 per month
