Site Preparation:

Laborers are responsible for preparing the construction site by removing debris, clearing obstacles, and ensuring a safe working environment.

Material Handling:

They load and unload materials, such as lumber, concrete, and equipment, ensuring efficient movement of materials.

Equipment Operation:

Laborers may operate power tools, hand tools, and light machinery, assisting with various tasks.

Assisting Tradespeople:

They support other tradesworkers like electricians and plumbers by providing materials, tools, and assistance with specific tasks.

Safety and Maintenance:

Laborers are responsible for ensuring a safe working environment, following safety protocols, and maintaining tools and equipment.

General Tasks:

They may also be involved in tasks like digging trenches, compacting earth, and constructing temporary structures.

Skills & Requirements:

Preferably, you have demonstrated experience working as a construction worker or in a related position.

Knowledge of fundamental construction methods, tools, and equipment.

The ability to move big objects and conduct manual labor with physical strength and endurance.

Fundamental mathematical abilities for material alignment, cutting, and measurement.

A keen eye for detail and the capacity to adhere to directions.

The capacity to collaborate with others and communicate effectively.

An understanding of safety rules and a dedication to following them.
